Hi folks,
I realised that it’s been quite a while since I last compiled complete changelogs of the updates to my paid packs here, so I figured I should catch up on that. That means that this post will include all the changes of the latest versions, but also a complete changelog since the last updates post(s) for the sake of completeness, but first there are a few formalities to explain that I recently changed.
New Versioning Scheme
As announced on my Discord server, my paid packs now follow the same versioning style as my free packs. This felt like it’d make the versions a bit more readable and logical, and the odd “preview” style of versioning felt kinda out of place over time.
The version numbers more or less translate directly to the new scheme, so “KappaPT P18d” becomes “KappaPT v18.4” with the updated versioning.
It’s a rather small adjustment, but I think it’s a good one for the sake of consistency.

Block Mappings
As some of you may have noticed, I am a bit behind when it comes to mapping all kinds of building blocks that have been added with recent Minecraft versions. This is largely because the process of updating those is extremely tedious as each stair block for example has dozens of individual shape variations that all have to be mapped out by hand. The same thing goes for doors, as those also have plenty of combinations of orientations, and then that times two because of the closed and open states.
This quickly adds up when a bunch of new building materials with a new stair variety each get added with one update, so I’ve started to work on an almost automated solution for me to generate updated block mappings, instead of having to type out a seemingly endless list of shape variations for each new stair block. I hope that I’ll get my little tool for this up and running soon and once I do I’ll update the block mappings for my path traced packs. I hope that you can understand my priorities here as well as the tedious and time consuming work that I’m attempting to streamline.

And now we can get to the changelogs. I hope you enjoy these updates as always, even if there aren’t a lot of huge changes for reasons that I’ve explained in this months devblog.
