What is the Potato Shader?

This is a shaderpack that tries to stay as lightweight as possible to, as its name might suggest, even be usable on a literal potato of a PC. However it still tries to enhance the visuals in a reasonable way, despite lacking the fabled dynamic shadows and other effects of expensive nature. It also provides a degree of customizability through various ingame settings to allow you to get the experience you want.

It’s time to go through some new stuff again, especially when it comes to my lower end packs like Potato- and Simplicissimus Shaders as I have a few plans to bring those more up to speed soon.

It is once again time to go through some updates again, which should be quite interesting this time thanks to the revival of FastPBR and the recent Iris-exclusive updates of Soft Voxels.

Update Roundup 2022-03

A bunch of minor updates for Nostalgia Shader, Vanilla Plus, and Potato Shader. As all of those aren’t too extensive I decided to just bundle them into a single post instead of extremely short separate posts.
