Hey folks,
I’ve released a few quality of life improvements for my path traced packs in the last month, so I figured it’d be good to give you a bit of an overview.

The most significant improvement is automatic mapping of (almost?) all current and future noncubic blocks such as doors, stairs, fences etc. thanks to being able to use block tags for a shaderpacks block mappings now. Apparently this was added to Iris sometime since last summer and I just missed that becoming a thing, but either way this resolves the giant headache that block mappings usually are.
Aside from that I’ve also fixed a few artifacts that occurred when your window resolution was uneven on at least one axis and that specifically affected NostalgiaVX and Soft Voxels, as well as broken accumulation on a small section at the bottom of the screen.

Those were the most notable changes, so I’ll just continue with the full changelogs now and I hope you’ll appreciate those updates as always :)
KappaPT v18.5:
- Added block mappings using block tags
- allows for modded and/or future vanilla blocks such as stairs, slabs, doors etc to be mapped automatically
- adjusted irradiance cache to delay initial skylight rendering by one frame
- prevents persistent skylight in indoor areas after reloading
NostalgiaVX v11.7:
- fixed artifacts at screen edges with uneven window resolutions
- fixed broken accumulation at the bottom of the screen in some circumstances
- added block mappings using tags
Soft Voxels v8.3:
- fixed artifacts at screen edges with uneven window resolutions
- fixed broken accumulation at the bottom of the screen in some circumstances
- added block mappings using tags
- skylight strength now also applies in the nether
