Hey folks,
As my schedule was quite a bit more packed than I expected as of late I wasn’t able to get as much done as I’d have liked, but I’ve made some more improvements to NostalgiaVX’ Distant Horizons support nonetheless.
I’ve mostly focused on ironing out some of the major rendering errors, such as incorrect interaction of the volumetric clouds with the DH lods. In addition to that I’ve also updated the cloud shadows a bit for somewhat better results, while also making sure that they work with the DH terrain as well (especially given their pretty prominent visual impact on large terrain areas).
I do really hope that I’ll get everything sorted out so that I can spend some more time on these updates again, but I suppose sometimes one just happens to end up with a more work than expected for a while. Aside from just Distant Horizons support I plan on giving most of my packs some minor touch-ups, especially when it comes to some of the specifics with Minecraft versions that have been released since their latest updates, so as you can imagine there is a bit of a backlog of things that I really want to get going on once I have some more time again.
Regardless of that I wanna thank my supporters on Patreon as always for continuing to make it possible for me to work on these things :)
