This is a modernised interpretation of the Arkham City batsuit, just like my Arkham Asylum Batsuit Refit, as it was an obvious choice to continue this with the former, given the similarity of the suits in both games.
One of the things that always bugged me about the Arkham City batsuit was that its colour scheme was a bit inconsistent, with the cape and cowl having a blueish colour while the boots, gauntlets and trunks were black, so naturally I changed that on my version of it. As my version of the Asylum suit already has a black and grey colour scheme I went for blue and grey on this suit, which also helps with setting the two apart.
Another more significant change I made is the design of the boots and gauntlets, as those felt a little overdesigned to me in the original, so I streamlined them in a similar way as I did for the Asylum suit. That means no more holding straps made from ten different elements and gauntlets that consist of the hard outer plating and a softer inner layer for comfort rather than having layers and layers of padding underneath the plating.
As far as the cape goes I’ve tried to give its gliding state a somewhat faithful yet more theatrical look by making it larger than before with a more wrinkled look while still roughly preserving the type of shape it had in the original game.
Last but not least, I gave this suit a dedicated face model that takes some more aspects from the Arkham City Batman’s face while still keeping some visual continuity to the face model I did for my (Proto-) Asylum suits.
