Hi folks,
Here we are with yet another update of my Burton Skin Pack, though I hope that this will be the definitive one for the foreseeable future, given that I finally took the time to iron out the remaining nitpicks of my own. That includes giving all the cowls a more or less gentle overhaul and fitting them properly onto my new face models, rather than trying to squish the face into a cowl that was originally fitted for Arkham Knight Bruce. Speaking of faces, I have also improved my Keaton face models as well, with some “thick lips knowledge” I gained when making my Val Kilmer face as well as a bunch of other minor tweaks to bring it closer to Keaton in terms of likeness.
Aside from that I’ve also updated the boots on the 1989 and 1992 suits to in order to get more resemblance to the original Nike boots used on the movie prop, though naturally I still took some liberties and combined the “sporty” style of soles with the more combat-boots type of style of the previous version, since that just felt like it’d be a perfect blend between a faithful look and my usual, more practicality oriented design approach. Another accessory that got an update are the gloves on the 2023 suit, which now feature a design that’s a bit more reminiscent of what was seen on the movie prop, although I deviated a bit from that design since I couldn’t get it to look as good as I’d have liked, so I went with a similar design with some additions of my own, such as the separating knuckle pads. Nonetheless it’s a significant upgrade over the repurposed Snyder gloves I was using on that suit before.
In addition to that I’ve also given all the capes minor updates with new detail textures while the 2023 cape (and especially its gliding state) received a more significant overhaul since it’s the oldest cape model of the bunch and it shows and last but not least I have also updated the emblem textures, since those were also pretty old and my material workflows weren’t as refined as they are nowadays when I made those.
I hope you’ll enjoy the skins in their even more refined state :)
